Go to liberamente.cristianosticca.com
Enter your email and tap "Send code"
You'll receive an 8-digit code by email
Enter the code to sign in
On first launch your default contexts are ready to go
💡 Example · On first launch
You'll find ready-made contexts: @Home, @Computer, @Phone, @Errands, @Office. Edit them or add your own in Contexts.
Always use the same email address — all your data is tied to that account.
Local Plan — all GTD data saved on your device (IndexedDB). Works fully offline
Cloud Plan — adds sync across devices, automatic backup and advanced features
Go to Settings → Sync to see your active plan and switch it
Cloud-only features (audio, photo, video, email, Siri, push notifications) show a lock 🔒 on the Local Plan
💡 Example · What changes
On the Local Plan you can capture text, clarify, organise, use the calendar and recurring templates. The Cloud Plan unlocks media capture, email, Siri, push notifications and multi-device sync.
Your data never disappears when switching from Cloud to Local — it stays on your device. The Cloud Plan only adds sync on top.
iPhone: Safari → tap ⬆ Share → Add to Home Screen
Android: Chrome → menu ⋮ → Install app
Desktop: install icon in the address bar → Install
💡 Example · After installing
The app opens full-screen without a browser bar, just like a native app. With the Cloud Plan you'll also receive push notifications and can capture with Siri.
Push notifications and Siri capture require both the PWA installed from the Home Screen and the Cloud Plan.
Tap the + button at the bottom right on any screen to open the capture sheet
Text — type any idea or task (available on both plans)
Audio, Photo/Video, Email — available on Cloud Plan only 🔒
Or use Share → LiberaMente from any app to send text to Inbox
💡 Example · Example
"Buy a gift for Anna's birthday" → goes to Inbox. Don't think further: process it when you clarify your Inbox.
The Inbox is your central collection point. Capture first, decide later. Even "watch Netflix tonight" goes in Inbox — no filtering.
Requires Cloud Plan — go to Settings → Sync → Switch to Cloud
Go to Capture → tap the Email tab
Copy your unique personal address (e.g. lm-abc123@mail…)
Send an email: subject = title, body = notes
💡 Example · Automatic forwarding
Create a Gmail rule: emails tagged "gtd" get automatically forwarded to LiberaMente. They appear in Inbox within seconds.
Save it as "📥 LiberaMente Inbox" in your contacts for quick access.
Requires Cloud Plan — go to Settings → Sync → Switch to Cloud
Open the PWA → Settings (gear icon in the sidebar) → section "Siri & Shortcuts"
Tap "Generate token" → then "Copy" to copy it to clipboard
Open the Shortcuts app on iPhone/iPad → tap + top right → Add action
Action 1 — search "Ask for Input" → Prompt: "What do you want to capture?" · Input type: Text
Action 2 — search "URL" → Value: https://liberamente.cristianosticca.com/api/capture
Action 3 — "Get Contents of URL" → Show More → Method: POST · Header: x-capture-token / [copied token] · JSON Body: Key title / Value: Provided Input
(Optional) Action 4 — "Show Result": adds a visual confirmation after sending
Tap "Next" → name it e.g. "Capture in LiberaMente" → assign a Siri phrase (optional): tap the mic → e.g. "Capture note"
💡 Example · In practice
"Hey Siri, Capture in LiberaMente" → Siri asks: "What do you want to capture?" → you say "Call the dentist" → appears instantly in Inbox.
Add the shortcut as a Home Screen widget: capture with a single tap, without opening anything. The token is personal — regenerate it any time from Settings.
Tap an item in Inbox to open the guided GTD wizard
Step 1 — What is it? Understand what you're dealing with
Step 2 — Is it actionable? Yes → continue · No → Reference, Someday/Maybe or Trash
Step 3 — Less than 2 minutes? Yes → do it now (doesn't enter the system) · No → continue
Step 4 — You or someone else? You → Next Action · Others → Waiting For
Step 5 — Destination: Next Action, Project, Waiting For, Someday/Maybe, Reference or Trash
💡 Example · Full example
"Call the dentist" → Actionable? Yes → Less than 2 min? No → You do it? Yes → Destination: Next Action · @Phone
2-minute rule: if it takes less than 2 minutes, do it right now during the wizard — don't put it on a list!
Filter by context, project, energy (🔥/⚡/🌿) or duration using the chips at the top
Tap the star ⭐ to add an action to Today's view
Tap the circle on the left to mark the action as completed
Tap the title to edit inline: text, notes, contexts, due date
💡 Example · On the phone?
Filter @Phone → see only "Call dentist", "Confirm meeting with Mark", "Call back client Ross". Nothing else.
Red border = overdue today or past. Amber border = due within 2 days. Handle these first.
Tap ⭐ on any next action to add it to Today's view
Today's calendar events appear in the "Calendar" section
Starred actions or actions due today appear in the "To do today" section
Tap the circle next to an action to mark it as completed
💡 Example · Your morning
"Team meeting" (from Google Calendar). "Prepare Q2 slides" (⭐ action). Everything in one screen without switching sections.
Star 3–5 actions the evening before. In the morning you know exactly what to do — zero decisions.
In the wizard, choose "Delegate" as destination
Fill in "Waiting for" with the person's name or what you're waiting on
Add a due date for an automatic follow-up reminder
💡 Example · Automatic follow-up
You sent a quote to Mark on Thursday. "Waiting for: Mark's reply · due: Monday" → Monday morning you get a push notification.
Every Monday at 09:00 you receive a push notification listing all overdue follow-ups. Nothing slips through.
In the wizard, choose "Someday/Maybe" as destination
Optionally add a note with context for the idea
Revisit it every week during the Weekly Review
💡 Example · Not a trash can!
"Learn Portuguese" → Someday/Maybe. Three months later at a Review: still relevant? Yes → moved to Next Actions.
Revisit every item at least once a month. The right ideas wait for the right moment.
Go to Someday/Maybe → scroll to the "Recurring templates" section at the bottom
Tap + to create a template: choose title, frequency (daily/weekly/monthly/yearly) and interval
Calendar mode: generates an Inbox item on the same fixed schedule, regardless of when you completed
Completion mode: the next trigger starts from when you mark the action as done — ideal for checkups, maintenance
Use the toggle to enable or disable a template without deleting it
💡 Example · Automatic Weekly Review
Create "Weekly Review" with weekly frequency and Calendar mode → every Monday "Weekly Review" appears in Inbox. You clarify it, create the next action, complete it → the cycle restarts automatically.
Use Calendar for fixed deadlines (bills, meetings). Use Completion when the rhythm starts from when you finished: medical checkups, haircuts, car maintenance.
A project = any outcome requiring more than 1 action
Create a project → link next actions, waiting for, or someday items to it
Tap the title to expand and see linked actions, add new ones, or mark the project as completed
Filter Next Actions by project to stay focused on one goal at a time
💡 Example · Example
"Bathroom renovation" → Project with: "Call plumber @Phone", "Request tile quote @Computer", "Site visit with architect @Errands".
Every project must have at least 1 next action. If it doesn't, it's stuck — add one now.
Go to Contexts from the sidebar to manage them
Create a context: type the name, choose a colour from presets → Add
Edit an existing context: tap the pencil icon → change name or colour → Save
Assign one or more contexts to each next action to filter them later
💡 Example · Advanced trick
Create "@Agenda:Mark" → collect everything you need to say to Mark. Before your next meeting, filter @Agenda:Mark and have it all ready.
You can assign multiple contexts to one action: "@Computer + @Home" for work-from-home tasks.
Go to Settings → Calendar
Google Calendar: tap "Connect Google Calendar" and authorise
iCloud/ICS: copy the ICS URL of your calendar and paste it
💡 Example · iCloud in 3 steps
iCloud → Calendars → tap ⓘ next to the calendar → Share Calendar → enable "Public Calendar" → copy the link → paste in LiberaMente.
Events appear in both the Today view and the Calendar section.
In the wizard: "Actionable? No" → choose Reference
Add tags to organise (e.g. "reading", "legal", "research")
Use full-text search to find anything in seconds
💡 Example · In practice
Interesting GTD article → Reference with tags "reading, productivity". Three months later you search "productivity" → found instantly.
Links in the content become clickable in the detail panel. No more copy-pasting.
Every Friday or Sunday evening, open Weekly Review
Follow the 6 guided steps: clear → process → review everything
The date of your last review is recorded when you finish
💡 Example · You find a stuck project
"New website" has no next actions → add "Compare WordPress vs Webflow" · @Computer. Project unblocked.
The Weekly Review is not optional. Without it the system fills with noise. 30 minutes a week.
Requires Cloud Plan — go to Settings → Sync → Switch to Cloud
Install the PWA from the Home Screen, then go to Settings → Push notifications → Enable and authorise
Configure deadline reminders: Settings → Deadline reminders → choose 0–14 days in advance
08:00 every day — "You have N actions for today" (starred or due-today actions)
10:00 every day — upcoming deadline reminders + inbox to process (only if uncleared for more than 2 days)
Monday 09:00 — "N overdue follow-ups" (Waiting actions with a past due date)
💡 Example · Fully automatic
Nothing to do after activating. Notifications fire automatically at the configured times, in your profile language.
Three things needed: Cloud Plan active, PWA installed from Home Screen AND permissions enabled. If one is missing, notifications won't arrive.
Tap the ⚙ icon at the bottom of the sidebar
Sync section — shows your active plan (Local / Cloud) and lets you switch it
Configure theme (Light/Dark/System), notifications 🔒 Cloud and reminders 🔒 Cloud
Manage your Siri token 🔒 Cloud and calendar connection
💡 Example · Deadline reminders
Set "2 days before" → you receive a push 2 days before each action's due date. Choose between 0 and 14 days.
You can regenerate the Siri token at any time. The old one is invalidated automatically.
Tap the ☰ icon at the top left to open the sidebar
Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar → tap the "English" (or "Italiano") button with the 🌐 icon
The URL, interface and notifications update automatically in the new language
💡 Example · What changes
You select Italiano → the URL becomes /it/inbox, push notifications arrive in Italian. The preference is saved to your profile.
Language is saved in your profile, not the browser. Switch devices and find the same language.
